I was born in Aba city and was raised up within the Aba and Port Harcourt cities of Nigeria. After my secondary education I went to University of Nigeria where I graduated with a BA honours in Mass Communication with first class honours in 1999/2000.
I worked with Ecobank West Africa for 2 years engaged in various financial operations activities. During this period I got an MBA in Marketing from Nnamdi Azikiwe University in March 2002. In September 2002, I got the Tetley and Lupton scholarship to do a Masters degree in International Communications of the University of Leeds. I graduated in December 2003 with a Distinction.
I worked briefly with GE Capital Bank in Leeds before deciding to go for a Teachers Training Programme at the University College of St Mark and St John in Plymouth. At graduation I got the qualified teachers status in England and Wales and have taught in Callington Collage and South Dartmoor College, in Cornwall and Devon respectively. I will put this wealth of experience to use in my role as the Education support worker and Media technician in FATA HE BME Development.
